Mini Lush Haul

This weekend I was at the Waterfront to have lunch with my family, and I just couldn't resist popping into Lush! I was only going to repurchase my Karma Komba shampoo bar, but then - well, you know how it goes! I did manage to limit myself to only two bath products, as I have about 20 lush bath bombs and bubble bars at home waiting to be used!

Lush says: Calm, fragrant hair and scalp and fewer tangles. Karma Komba is the shampoo bar to calm hair that keeps starting fights and ends up in tangles. (Use Jungle solid conditioner, too.) We scent it with our beautifully calming, mentally elevating Karma fragrance. It has toning orange oil, with pine and patchouli to help keep your scalp soothed and free of problems. Use Karma Komba to keep everything nice and calm, especially your hair.
I say: You can see my review of this shampoo in last month's Favourites post (it's over here). I'm repurchasing, so it's obviously a winner! Worth noting, I've used my previous bar for four months and there's still a bit left, so this product is good value for money!

Lush says: A solid conditioner packed with tropical fruit, oils and cocoa butter to calm your mane. Made from a cocoa butter base, this is full of fresh figs, kumquats and passion fruits to add shine and hydrate hair. It's also naked and self-preserving. We mash fresh bananas and avocados into this base to condition the hair. Just stroke the bar directly down wet hair a few times; a little goes a long way.
I say: While I was getting my shampoo bar, one of the staff members recommended giving this a go. It has a pleasant scent that isn't overwhelming. I've only used it once so far so I can't offer lots of information get but for this use at least it did leave the lengths of my hair in good condition.

Lush says: Softens hard skin all over the body, especially the cuticles. We made Lemony Flutter to soften your cuticles; it’s our thickest cream out there. It’s so good at softening your cuticles and nourishing your nails that Lush customers have been using it to soften and nourish lots of other body parts like their feet, elbows and knees. Fortunately, it’s a very reasonably priced cream, so you can afford to use it as widely as you wish. Take more care of your extremities and invest a small sum in a Lemony pot.
I say: I got a sample size of this product with my Christmas order and I love it - it's so rich and hydrating, and the lemon oil smells amazing! My cuticles are definitely in better condition when I use this cream - I've also seen a drastic reduction in the amount of hangnails I get. My little sample pot lasted me ages, so I can predict that this large tub will have me good to go for a long, long time!

Lush says: Dive into a deep purple pool with bubbles scented with violet leaf and jasmine absolutes. Make it through the rain and find the silver lining to every bubbly cloud. Just what UV been waiting for.
I say: I can't resist these giant bubble bars (I'm somewhat in love with The Comforter) by Lush. They seem expensive, but they're actually one of Lush's biggest bargins! You can cut these up into 6 - 8 pieces, with each piece giving you a bath with heaps of luxuriant bubbles. Ultraviolet has a deep, sultry scent and I'm excited to see a pretty purple bubble bath!

Lush says: How do you like your legs in the morning? We like ours soaking in honey-toffee scented molten gold, packed full of Fair Trade Colombian cocoa butter.
I say: I couldn't resist picking up this glittering goodie to use on Easter Sunday! It is absolutely covered in gold glitter! The outer layer is made of cocoa butter and will melt into the bath water before releasing the bath bomb center. Sounds heavenly! (And the scent is delicious!)

  1. YAY lush haven't tried any of their Easter collection yet

  2. I always think about cuticle oils but never actually go out with the intent of purchasing one. I want to give that Lemony Flutter a try now!
