NOTD: Be Bold!

essence be loud "not punk nor funk" over Sally Hansen "Scarlet Fever" (pre cleanup because I'm lazy and forgot to do clean up)

Ok, you guys probably know by now that I'm a sucker for glitter nail polish toppers (for example, exhibit a, exhibit b, exhibit c...). They're a fun way to add a little something extra to your nails with practically zero extra effort. So when I saw a glitter topper in the Essence "Be Loud" collection, I couldn't help grabbing it. I used one thin coat over my base colour as this polish is packed with glitter pieces: rose microglitter, hexagonal glitter in gold, black and iridescent, plus silver bar glitter. I like this look but would like to try it over other colours, maybe black or white? The only thing I didn't like about this glitter topper is that those silver bars had a tendency to lift out of the polish, creating rough ends.
As for the base shade, I got this Sally Hansen polish at the Rubybox Beauty Night Out. It's my first time trying a normal polish from Sally Hansen (although I love the InstaDri Top Coat) and I quite like the formula. This polish was almost a one-coater, beautiful pigmentation. It applied smoothly and dried quickly. I did experience a teeny bit of staining, but nothing too bad.
