This month I'm starting a new series - 3 Goals. The concept is simple enough - picking three things that I want to focus on this month to improve my life.
No 1 this month is to be more organised for work. I sometimes feel like I am juggling one ball too many and everything is moments away from disaster, so I need to get myself more organised in order to be as productive as possible.
The next goal of mine for April is to journal more regularly. I used to journal daily (whether it was writing just about my day, or getting really personal, or just creative writing) but so far this year I've been rather blocked. In March I started to rediscover my love for writing, so I really want to focus on getting back into it this month.
My final goal for April is to make my bedroom a sanctuary. Now, I've gotten into the bad habit of coming home from work, heading straight for my room, leaving a trail of clothes across the floor and just collapsing into bed with my laptop. Obviously, this does not make for a happy lifestyle or a good night's sleep. I want to focus on making my bedroom a peaceful, calm, relaxing space. I've got a few tricks up my sleeve...
