Online shopping with EverythingHair.co.za

I was recently exposed to another great South African online store - EverythingHair.co.za - and was lucky enough to be given a voucher to give it a try. (It also took lots and lots of restraint to not buy one of those pretty pastel GHDs!)(Also, I think I may be the last woman on earth to not own a GHD yet. Is it too early to write a letter to Santa?)

The site is well organized, so you can easily find what you are looking for. You can search by product type, hair type or brand. If you don't know what you're looking for, you can chat to a consultant who can direct you to some products that they recommend.

I immediately went and searched for Moraccanoil products - I've been eyeing the Light Oil Treatment for ages! After a thorough perusal of the store, I also added the Big Sexy Hair Powder Play Volumizing & Texurizing Powder (wow, that's a mouthful!) to my cart.

I had a small issue with checkout, but it wasn't EverythingHair's fault (ABSA went a little, well, ABSA on my credit card). After playing phone-tag with ABSA and getting the issue sorted out, I had no problem fixing my order with EverythingHair - customer service helped me out no-problem, and after my payment went through, it was about 36 hours until I was sitting with a box on my desk, carefully stroking my products and whispering "my preciousssss...". In addition to my two products, they had added in a scalp massager/detangler gadget. I actually already have one of these from a previous beauty box (Rubybox? GlamBox? Can't remember which) and it's lovely for gently coaxing knots out in the shower when my conditioner is in.

Now for a quick note on delivery fees. If you want delivery to your local post office, it will cost R35 but is free for orders over R350. For courier delivery, the cost is R80 or free for orders over R800.

    1. Phew, ok ;) I'm still using my trusty old philips straightener, will at some point have to upgrade but I can't justify spending cash on a new one just yet...
I'm interested to see how the powder works! My hair just loves to fall flat!

  2. Nah GHD is not good for people with fine hair like me. So you're definitely not the only one. I'm so tempted to check them out... I'm really bad I have wish lists at almost every online store *gasp*

  3. I am also a huge fan of Everythinghair.co.za. I haven't bought yet but only because I am trying to stretch my budget over a 100 different things.
I am obsessed with the pastel GHD's. They are so gorgeous.
