OOTD: Bronze and Demin

This past weekend was the Olive Festival in the Riebeek Valley (another blog post coming on this later). A bunch of my chemistry friends and I went to stay in the valley for the weekend of festivity. This is what I wore for the Saturday.
Weekends in the country spent drinking wine and eating locally produced olives, cheese and bread need a simple but stylish outfit. I absolutely love what I chose to wear!
This bronze maxi skirt is absolutely amazing - it's lightweight and soft, and so unbelievably shimmery and shiny! In the right light, it really looks like molten metal. I decided to offset the metallic skirt with an edgier top half, choosing to wear a soft chambray shirt that I knotted to bring it in at the top of the skirt (which sat high at the smallest part of my waist). I added wedged brown leather ankle boots (they're hiding under there, I promise!), peacock feather earrings, a long necklace with earthy beads and bronze charms, and an assortment of bronze and wooden bracelets.

Bracelets - Sass Diva, Foschini
