Casual but Chic

I'm working from home today, but by no means does that mean I'm spending the whole day in my pajamas. Indeed, if I don't dress as if I'm going to work, it doesn't feel like I should be working, if that makes any sense. My outfit today is sort of a compromise between comfortable and stylish. In the in-between seasons I basically live in my collection of jeggings, and today is no exception. I've paired these dark blue demins with a soft, beautifully cut cotton shirt and a pair of gray ballet pumps. Some simple jewelry, like the beaded necklace, hooped earrings and simple rings, add a subtle finish to the outfit. I kept my makeup in neutral tones, and added a little bit of texture to my hair by making a few curls and then brushing them out.

Shirt, jeggings and necklace all from Woolworths SA. Earrings were a gift. Watch from River Island.
Eyeshadow by Almay, Lipstick by Rimmel.

Really love how you got such amazing texture in your hair. My hair just falls straight :P

    1. Thank you :)
My hair always used to fall straight, but now I seem to have gotten the hang of it (at least when it's this length!). I use a bit of argan oil before roughly blow-drying, then add curls throughout using my flatiron. I then brush the curls out with my fingers before spraying all over with L'Oreal Elnett hairspray. Still have enough wave in it the next day if I decide to go the dry shampoo route :)
