I'm starting to get the feeling that long skirts are going to play a big role in my wardrobe this season... There's only so many times you can wear skinny jeans before you start to get majorly bored.
In any case, my outfit today features another high-low hem skirt (a twin to the oatmeal-coloured one I wore last week), as well as a pretty purple lace & ruched top. I've always worn this top over jeans, shorts or skirts, so I thought I'd give it a new look by tucking it in.
(Oh, and all the long skirts I'm wearing aren't originally intended to be high-waisted. I'm just too lazy to shorten them all, so I buy them a size smaller so that they can fit higher. Sneaky secret for my fellow short people!)
Tucking your blouse into your skirt immediately gives a more polished silhouette. A skinny belt ties the look together.
