The Three Musketeers (myself and two of my good friends, H & L) went adventuring a few weeks back to go watch the IRB Junior Championship Final, seeing as the Baby Boks had made it all the way to the final! We started off with an awesome pub lunch at Forries (Forresters Arms), where we warmed up next to the fireplace, had some cider and generally got the day off to a good start! Having eaten our fill, we made the walk to the stadium, where the girls represented by watching not one, but three rugby matches! First up was the match for 5th/6th place, where Ireland beat France. The stadium was still quite empty, but there was plenty of spirit. We were also sitting very close to one of the cameramen, so we got to have a bit of fun! During this match, the heavens opened: first with a light drizzle, developing to a proper downpour. Not wanting to be completely drenched and miserable by the time the Baby Boks played, we retreated from our seats to a more sheltered section. There we continued to watch, as Wales beat Argentina for 3rd place. As the game drew to a close, the stadium started to fill up and (thankfully), the rain ceased for a bit, so we moved back to our proper seats (close enough to see the sweat on the players!). Of course, no sooner did we do that than it started raining again! Thankfully, the rain decided to behave itself for the final! We proudly sang the national anthem, then proceeded to shout, scream and cheer our team to victory!
